Where do the property ratings come from?
Three days on the land of the owner David in Vyžice and I have only one wish - to return there tomorrow and stay at least a month. After these days I am beautifully relaxed and rested.
The land that is available is huge, fenced, quiet. The visitors don't disturb each other, everyone has their own privacy. We were woken up by a rooster in the morning and during the day we enjoyed the beautiful view of the fields and woods around. Those who long to turn off their heads, to be quiet and to connect with nature have just found their peace.
The children have plenty to do here. There is a large trampoline, goals for football or floorball, archery. They can safely move around the entire area of the property, because it is fenced. This was appreciated by our dog, who was able to move around and enjoy his freedom and we had peace of mind that he wouldn't wander off anywhere.
The property also includes a pub where you can order delicious lunches from the owner.We used this facility daily and never once made a mistake. The food is fresh, honest , lovingly cooked.
The facilities are clean, tidy, well thought out in detail. You can see that Mr David is intent on further improvements and has lots of plans in mind. Outside on the property is a sink with a spring and sponge, solar shower. The toilets in the building are clean, a basket taken out every morning, the floor mopped, plus the toilets include feminine hygiene products which is a huge plus. Exactly the type of care that is lacking elsewhere and here it surprises and delights.
The owner is smiling, kind, incredibly helpful and accommodating. He came to greet us personally upon arrival, advised us where to go, took his time, was there whenever we needed him- while not intruding on our space. It is obvious that he cares about people. There are very few people like that.
My family and I have been to a lot of places like this, but here, this place felt like home. We didn't really want to go home. When you're on the fence about where to go, stop looking. Vyžice and Mr. David are definitely the best choice you can make.
There are plenty of interesting places around Vyžice, both for hiking and cycling. A week will not be enough.
