Museum of Olomouc tvarůžky A. W.

3
The entrance to the museum begins in the former stables, where visitors enter the Big Story, which tells the history of Olomouc tvarůžky and the Wessels family. It begins with the first references to the production of Olomoucké tvarůžky and the first photographs. It then loosely follows the line of production from the processing of the curd, forming and bathing the tvarůžky, to their packaging, including a functional box puller. The big story is also unique in that it shows the time when hand production was changing to machine production, which was started by Alois Wessels' son-in-law Karel Pivný. The exhibition demonstrates the origins of Olomouc tvarůžky production through the period before the First World War, when members of the Wessels family became the largest producers of Olomouc tvarůžky. The second floor opens with the period study of Karel Pivný, another room is the retro "Sokol Cinema Loštice", where films about the production and history of Olomoucké tvarůžky are shown. The next room contains original moulding and bathing machines from the 20th century. There is also a recapitulation of the history of the production of Olomoucké tvarůžky in Loštice on a timeline. It ends with the period of socialisation and current production. A separate room is then dedicated to the latter, from which you can access a gallery of photographs showing the transformation of the factory from the restitution in 1990 to the present day. For visitors interested in extended interpretation beyond the audio-visual programmes, the museum has three information points equipped with a desktop computer with Panorama software where detailed information can be sought. The last area is a farewell to the visitor, who then enters the company shop of A. W. spol. s r.o. The museum is wheelchair accessible, the form of individual tours will give everyone the opportunity to choose a tour according to their interest and time possibilities. The duration of the tour lasts approximately one hour according to individual interest.
