Access to the property may be difficult in rainy weather
Directly to the site leads only a forest road, difficult to pass even for off-road vehicles. In wet weather and in winter it is impassable. A stony dirt municipal road leads to the parking area, passable in good weather with caution for normal cars with higher ground clearance. The road is passable in all weather for off-road vehicles and SUVs. There are several parking options. A map with a description of the current situation will be given to you before you arrive. The nearest parking space is currently about 300m from the marquee. The furthest, available for all cars, is about 1km from the marquee.
Restriction of the access road
The narrow forest track directly to the site is narrowly negotiated by LR Discovery 1/2 in dry weather. The dirt road to the parking spaces is easily traversed by large agricultural machinery. The problem here is the rutted tracks and stones in places.

There are several cycle paths and pleasant forest and field paths in the surroundings. MTB enthusiasts will find their own, as well as quieter trekking trips. Dirt park Robousy (MTX) is about 10 km away.

The place is on the border of Bohemian Paradise and Podkrkonoší. There are several hiking trails and picturesque forest paths suitable for wandering in nature. Half a kilometer from the place is the ruins of Bradlec Castle, 3.5 km from the place is the ruins of Kumburk Castle. About 5 km away is the Tichánek lookout tower on Mount Tabor - one of the most beautiful lookout towers in the Czech Republic. The region is a renowned agate deposit.

The place is best suited for a peaceful rest in the bosom of nature and meditative wanderings in the surrounding forests. Or as a base for hiking or cycling tours in the surroundings.
The site is in the woods, so extra caution is needed when starting a fire and putting it out consistently. In adverse conditions (prolonged drought), the landowner may restrict or prohibit the lighting of fires.

Marigot is very nice inside. The fireplaces for a hot dinner and morning tea are a nice addition to your stay. The surrounding nature is also very nice. The morning greeting from the roe deer was not to be missed :)
Everything was ok. We left the car at the sitting area, about 300m away. It would probably only be possible with a small SUV. Everything looked like in the photos. Communication with the owner was no problem.
The marquee in the wilderness was the perfect cozy for me. I felt beautifully cozy and safe. I knew I could go to the friendly owners at any time for any help or advice (with the heating for example) and yet I was not disturbed and could enjoy the solitude with the beautiful beech forest and impressive ruins at my back. During the day, only the voices of animals kept me company (even the exotic call of a peacock) and at night only the crackling of the fire. You can hear the road slightly, but in the evening it's also bedtime. At night, the moon and a big wagon shine over your head and an owl hoots behind your back. And when it's raining, it's incredibly pleasant to just sit by a fancifully fogged window and spin your dreams over coffee (or delicious well water). I would love to wander here again.
It was our second time here and again a great experience. If you are a bit of an adventurer but want a little background, I recommend it.
Second visit to the maringotka and can't help but agree with the other comments really quiet place and nice lady owner. I recommend everyone to visit.
