We were 3 dads with kids and we liked the place. There are goats, sheep, chickens... the kids were done with them. There is a stream in front of the property. For our purposes it was great and I would go again.
The best site I have stayed at. The hosts were very kind and helpful and I really loved staying here. A lovely peaceful valley hidden away with good facilities and incredible hosts
Quiet place by the brook, garden with lots of things and lots of pets, typically rural. The goats greeted us happily and then came to say good morning. The land is not quite level, but there was room for a tent. The only way to get there by car is via a ford, but we didn't risk that due to the water level. However, we conveniently took our stuff on the cart.
As the owner writes that everything is about agreement, so it was 100% valid. We booked late afternoon, arranged to arrive in the evening, everything was shown and explained to us. Great negotiation.
The place could do with a few minor tweaks but we were happy. If you like animals, this is a good option for more than one night.
As we entered the garden, memories of my uncle's garden, where I spent part of my childhood, surfaced. Upon entering the property we were greeted by goats and sheep, the kids were thrilled :) chickens, ducks, nature everywhere as if we had entered another world! The communication with the owner was absolutely the best and he even stopped by towards the end of the evening to show us his apiary. We had a great chat, I don't know how to describe it but I wish there were more people like that. As it was raining at the beginning, he came to warn us about the risk of the ford rising and offered us the possibility of staying overnight in the hut. We visited two viewpoints in the area from where I attach a photo of the garden, which is really big. This campsite is really close to the doorstep, yet completely in the countryside. In close proximity there is a stream and a well-kept pond. The next day we got some more cucumbers, eggs and lavender, this unexpectedly also made us very happy and after a short conversation it was clear that we are not the last time here. Thank you for a wonderful weekend when we cleared our minds from everyday worries and had a lot of fun :).
